Welcome to Lane Motor Museum!
Cars with two heads, two engines, or three wheels. Cars that fold in half. Propellers cars, gyroscopically-balanced cars, amphibious cars! This is not your typical car museum!
Lane Motor Museum in Nashville, TN, features 150 unique cars and motorcycles and is home to the largest European vehicle collection in the U.S. The vehicles date from the late 1800s all to modern day and feature a varied collection of microcars, amphibious vehicles, military vehicles, alternative fuel vehicles, prototypes, one-of-a-kind homebuilt cars, and rare and unique motorcycles. A great exhibit that the whole family can enjoy!
At Lane Motor Museum visitors are introduced to a broad variety of cars from Europe, Asia, and North and South America. Engineering, geopolitics, geography, and economics are a few of the factors which have shaped vehicles throughout history. This is a working museum with the goal being to maintain all vehicles in working order.
This video, shown in the museum's welcome theater, gives a history of the museum's creation and current operations.

Did you know that car horns emit a specific pitch-most likely an F-and that those horns can be "translated" as a musical note? Older cars had a much lower pitch, closer to a C-sharp, but modern car manufacturers have raised it to a higher pitch to ensure motorists could hear horns through closed windows. Well, at Lane Motor Museum, we thought "what better way to celebrate the holidays than havi...

! Nous sommes arrivés jusqu'à à 60 véhicules / mois.

Was in a Larc Reserve unit in Palatka, FL. First time I heard of the Watercraft Operator MOS after my Regular Army time so I jumped at it. Got there and it was the Larc I would be driving. Had so much fun taking these out on the St. Johns River. Then you had to come back and grease everything.... worth it though.

Great work to rebuild the machine from almost nothing. It's amazing to see it working although as you say it has some technical challenges to the design. By the time you add the weight and power of the gyro and actuator the gains you save by having only 2 wheels are possibly lost but some people are still trying to do it.
